This was not as tack sharp as I wanted it. But, I though the caption was worth it for posting.
The hoverfly on the right appears to be a "peeping Tom"

What type of flower is this? Looks like a wild iris. As to the image... I like the floating feel. Almost like a dancer turning with her skirt floating in the air.

An excellent capture, Lucy. Nice comp and very well captured for the flower, the hoverflys (hoverflies?), and the bg. Looks pretty sharp to me as well. Excellent combination of a lovely floral subject and insect behavior, with a touch of humor added by the title. :toast:

Yes, Patricia...this is a type of wild iris. They are very small (notice the size against the tiny hoverflies). They come up as wildflowers with one flower on a single stem. They open during the day, and they close at night. Very pretty in a field!

Peeping Tom or not, it's an interesting and esthetically pleasing macro Lucy.
All three subjects are clear/well focused, I like this a lot! :toast:

Quite a capture, Lucy ! It's sharp enough to get the picture, though maybe the brightness could come down a touch. Anyway, very nicely done !!

This is lovely, Lucy. The flower petals create a nice sense of flying and you've got great details in the flies and flower center.
