Mine aren't coming up this year, so searched through some Longwood garden files.Don't know the techs, but I know I did a lot of burning around the flowers to focus attention on them.

Wonderful photo and excellent processing Michael! I love the comp that you used - with sharpness through the blooms and wonderful supporting greenery. Fabulous photo!

Utterly gorgeous work, Michael. The whites look perfect, and your work on the foliage really makes the blooms pop. Wonderful dof-was this a stack?

Thanks for the comments. No focus stack, Dennis. I'm sure I shot this with wide angle zoom, so dof was not a problem.

So fresh, elegant and natural! The b/g lighting of the greenery serves this well….The minor nit…I haven’t figured out the dark line above the rt bloom/ left-side petal located where the edge touches the top petal…? Clone out? As is …nearly perfect in my book.

Michael: Wonderful subjects superbly captured. I especially like the lighting and the dusting of pollen on the right bloom. Most excellent.>=))>
