After the grouse challenge and charge toward each other, they stop and seem to stair each other down. One of the grouse with rise up a little taller like a position of dominance. Then after a few minutes they just walk away and the whole process starts over with another grouse. I have images of the grouse with the tails included, but personally I like this one better. I will be interested to hear your comments.

Interesting behavior, Richard. It doesn't make for a super exciting image, but I still like the confrontation of these two. Glorious light.

I like the habitat and the interaction, and a nice color pallette to the whole scene. I'd still like to see the tails. :toast:

The techs look good to me. The crop is defined and so it is apparent that it is intentional, so no issue there. Personally, I would like to see the entire birds. I think this may have worked if there had been more action visible. As it is, it really needs your explanation to appreciate what may be taking place.

Nice interaction between the birds Richard. Nice technicals and great colors. I think the image would be stronger showing the entire birds.
