This photo of Bleeding Hearts (Dicentra) was taken several years ago. I'm looking forward to seeing these bloom again this year. :smile:

Canon T1i. 90mm macro lens. F/6.3 for 1/20 sec. ISO 100. Tripod mounted, natural lighting plus LED flashlight.

Lovely close-up…superb colors and b/g with the leaflets against the bright glow fills that space nicely. Excellent shot!

Wonderful composition and selective focus. I like that you can make out the branch plus the dark/lighter background in each corner, well done.

Mine have popped up and I too have high hopes. This is a great look at these often hard to photograph flowers, with the first flower sharp supported nicely by the two oof blooms. The background speaks well of the warmth of spring.

Lovely, Carolyn. Beautiful exposure and detail in the foreground blossom and I love the echo fo the one behind it. The third blossom doesn't add anything for my taste-I'd be tempted to remove it.
