Dropping In

I captured this Great Egret dropping into the tree tops. I like the outstretched wings and the great look at the feather detail. Processed using Photoshop CS3, NeatImage and LightZone. Comments and critiques welcome.

Great exposure on the whites. Everything held the detail. The few out of place feathers on the near wing are a nice plus.. Good job.

Good job on the whites and feather detail. The blue sky is pretty intense, but it could just be that I am not used to a sky this clear. I live here on the Coast in a land of humidity and paler skies.

Nice, Jerry. Great pose. From the neck it looks as if you had some fairly harsh light, but the wings came through amazingly well.
