Backlit Rose Abstract

Shot at the Butchart Gardens in Canada quite a few years ago.

Nikon D70 1/125 sec @ f/8 ISO 200 with a 70-300 lens at 300mm

This is about a 50% crop from the original image of a full rose backlit by late afternoon sun. I felt the crop had more impact and wanted to share and get your thoughts on it.

Thanks as always for taking a look and for your comments.

Sanjay

Beautiful, Sanjay. I like the lighting a lot and the angle you got on the petals really works well for me.

Sanjay: Don't you just love Butchart? I hope to get back there in the next year or so. What a target rich environment. Lover the light on this one and the deep colors. 2 thumbs up! >=))>
