The San Andres Mountains make a good backdrop for the White Sands view. One of my favorite stops in New Mexico always has something to offer.

This view also shows off the white sands nicely. However, the colors in the sky from the greenish tones just above the mountains to the very dark blues at the top seem otherworldly.

Yeah theres something real funky going on in the sky with those cyans--take a look at a single RAW exposure unadjusted and go from there. Real pretty comp though!

Nice comp in this Rick but I agree with the others on the colors being off. Also there seems to be little sharpening applied. Looks like a great scene to rework though.
