Arenaria imterpres

I captured this Ruddy Turnstone in the very last light of the evening.I chose not to crop any tighter. I wanted to show the isolation of the pile of shells in the water.

1D Mk IV, 500mm f4L IS + 1.4tc
1/320, f9
ISO 400

I really like this composition. The setting is just so pleasing. Great pose and angle for the bird and the angle you captured the image at seems just right to me. Nicely done.

I like the crop you chose, Matt. The oyster shells make a perfect perch. Excellent detail in the bird.

Nice light Matt and a very colourful and unique perch. I like the loose composition that gives some weight to the bird's environment.
