Spring Trio

Another shot of my Crocus flowers from my first floral shoot of the season. Again, I used black velvet to isolate these 3 flowers that were growing together. Did a frame instead of vignetting for this one.

Canon 60D. 90mm macro lens. F/25 at 1/20 sec. ISO 160. Tripod mounted, natural overcast sky lighting.

Hi Carolyn--very well done. The three blossom composition set above the leaves and black BG works nicely with the image.....................Jim-

Lovely composition and placement. Light is perfect, although my personal preference is for soft shadow lines as if from a soft box. I might also clone out the white tips of the leaves. This is a real nice crocus photo!

What a beautiful portrait, Carolyn. So nice having the lower right flower have distinctly different petals.
