Folks,
This was made in the evening, and had composed this diagonal. Guess this is a ground skimmer.?

I love this Balan, the color and comp are great and there's a sense that the dragonfly is in flight. Well done.

Wonderful eye to eye perspective, and I like DF's diagonal position in the frame. The bg is very nice. I guess I wonder about a bit more dof on the wings, but I don't know if you were shooting with a tripod and could have stopped down any more. Of course, I know shallow dof is more your shooting style, Balan, you did get the head and legs nice and sharp against the nice bg.

Good diagonal composition with front view, Balan. Simple and nice color palette as usual. I wish there was a little more room at the top and on the left. Nice capture.

I really like the subject with 3 sticks showing and a wonderful background color. I would of preferred a straight horizontal position but a fine overall composition with pleasing colors.

Beautiful dragonfly composition. I like the point shooting and the background.

Balan, I think this is tilted... The soft warm colors in both the df and the background work very well. As a dof "nut", I too would like to see more sharpness in the wings, but that's a style issue and this is a terrific look as presented.

Folks,
Thanks for your comments and answering some of the questions asked ..
Scott: On DOF: Could have tried mor dof, but I would have brought in a fair amount of muck into the BG.
Mark: On Tilt: Yes this was intentionally tilted during the shoot. I do have the straight image too, posted this as I felt the flat empty space above was not good to look at. ( well, thats what I thought, could have been a better image as well)
