Olympus E5, ZD150f2.0, 2xTC, ISO200, f4, 1/500 handheld out window

We have had a small flock of Bohemians visit our house fairly often lately. Today a very large flock came by for awhile and I got some shots out our bedroom window. It was a dark, cloud-covered day, but there was decent light for some shots. I had a blast watching them for quite some time and getting a lot of shots. Most of the shots were in our Crabapple tree, but I got a few in this pine tree next to it.

Colors are amazing. Really nice capture with great details.

Don't know if I would change anything.....perhaps darken the lighter spots in the BG? Maybe a square crop with him centered for a nice portrait. Just ideas, may not be any better than what you have here.

In any case, great shot.

A nice look at this bird with a good head turn and look at the wing plumage. :toast:
