Red Bud

While I was working the local nature area the other day, I found that the red bud was blooming. I stopped and grabbed a shot of this bush as I thought it was quite colorful. I had to bring down highlights and open up the backs on this. Also, more contrast, added half stop of exposure, small amount of saturation, clarity, and vibrance. Hope you enjoy it. Comments and critiques are welcome.

A nicely composed image, Peter ! I like the swing of the upper branches enfolding the red bud flowers and the work you've done on the lighting.

Peter: I love redbuds; they are one of the first heralds of spring around here. I like the flow through the frame and think you did a fine job on the processing. Nicely done.>=))>

What a nice 'explosion' of color Peter, puts our new little redbud tree to shame
It's in its second year, maybe by next spring..
Thanx for posting this beautiful 'bloomfest' :wavey:
