I got down on my stomach in the dirt for taking this one a few years back. I like the reflection through the petal of the insides.

Canon Rebel xTi,ISO200, 2.8, 1/1000sec. I think the reason I had the shutter speed so fast was because of a breeze.

Thanks in advance for any comments or critiques.

The center placement works in this instance, the background flowers add interest, and the backlighting of the poppy add details and dimension. I like this very much.

I like the POV, the colors combination and the texture of the petals.

Beautiful, Kathy! You made a great comp of these poppies, with one being dominant and the others being supporting elements. They show up so nicely against the blue sky. Blue and yellow is such an appealing color combination IMO. Interesting to see the shadows of some of the center details in the dominant flower. Well taken.
