Getting to be time for the ticks and the red bugs. I definitely like the sun rays lighting up the lupines. Is that Longleaf or Slash pine in the BG?

Very nice image with nice light on the lupines Thomas. Too bad about the lens flare but may be possible to remove it a bit. I also like this with a crop to where the rays start removing the bright sun and top. Nice job on this though.

The sun rays are very nice.

Not sure if you're asking, but my opinion/critique--I would like to see a version with the foreground lupines displayed with more saturation, maybe more contrast and cooled down on the temp some. Just something to make them more prominent. Fill flash maybe? I'm reaching here so bear with me. Also, maybe shift the crop down so there's more lupines and just a bit less tree top.

Anyway, a very nice warm sunrise shot.
Congrats,
Al
