Red shouldered hawks

D800 600mm ISO 800 F8 1/4000 sec Tripod

The same pair of red shouldered hawks at Bayou Segnette State Park as in previous post. I wish I caught them in this action sequence on a dead tree instead of a phone pole, but I still liked the action caught on this image.

Good exposure, the detail shows well in the larger version. The action is fascinating. Maybe its me, but they seem to be interested in pirating cable for the nest. Comcast doesn't install down there?

Very cool action, Bob, and a nice crisp image. The two poses are great.

I like this shot a lot. The action and the flight poses are good and the telephone poll seperates the shot from the norm posted here.
