Reddish Egret #1

I spent last weekend at Ft Desoto park in Tampa Bay. When I'm there the Reddish is my primary objective. I shot loads of frames of this one particular bird, and will post a couple more in the next several days. This is from my first afternoon there. I had struggled my way for 100 yards across a very sticky mud flat to get to this location, having been very careful not to loose my footing in the sticky muck. Slight crop of original. Larger image included.

Hello Bill

Sweet! Never seen these guys yet but hope to some day! Well done ., crisp and well detailed. I understand they are like "RED Squirrels) Very active and very quick movements. Good for you to get him at rest here!

Very nice, Bill. Really cool to get the neck extended like this and I like the way the feathers are blowing in the breeze. Excellent detail. Mud flats are definitely not on my list of favorite terrain.
