Nice shot with beautiful light. I like the reflection of the sky in the river and the fog over the snow. The top part of the image, particularly the hills, is slightly too dark for me. It gives a bit of a harsh contrast with the serene foreground.

Thanks for the input, Chris - good comment. For this one, I lightened the sky slightly and used Tony Kuyper's luminosity masks to lighten the hills

That is a very pretty scene, Doug. I really like the conditions you caught here and that rising mist looks so cool. Wonderful color and great mood. I'm ok with the dark hills but do wonder how it would look with the dark cloud at the very top lightened up some. Just a though as it is very nice as is. Larger version looks even better!
Edit: now I see the repost. It does look good Doug!

Way to capitalize on the great conditions. I had the same impression as Chris about the dark sky and hills; I think the repost is a nice improvement to an already great image. Congrats!

Super image,Doug. I think the repost is an improvement but it did not need much help. Wonderful lead in and I really like the mist rising in a sweet curve mirroring the water. The reflected color is a nice bonus. Very, very nice.

Gorgeous scene and conditions you caught here. Loving that beautiful warm sky against the snowy cold, but warm foreground. Maybe just a tad magenta in the foreground whites? I just noticed the repost. While the magenta is still there to my eye, the luminosity is better.

Great light, fine leading curves, and special mist rising from the water. The repost is a good improvement.

Looks nice!
The relative tilt to the right is the only thing bothering me a little.

Love the mood here. Fine work. I would have titled down just a tad more.

I love the sinuous reflection of the sky in the river/lake - excellent capture and workup.
