I just commented on a floral by Phil Hodgkins, acknowledging how much I like his use of focus stacking. On the other end of the spectrum, is your "cramming" style. Totally different, yet equally as impressive. Your use of "lack of DOF" defines those minute areas of focus in your images more strongly. What is important in your style is that you have the knowledge to "know" exactly where to place your sharp focus. Long lenses and wide apertures are your friends here, and they help you achieve your goal. But ultimately, as with Phil, it is the skill in your techniques which provide you with images very unique in style, and not easily matched by others.
