Good image of this bird. I like the colors and detail you have captured in this forest floor photo. Maybe just a tad more space in front of the pheasant. Thanks for sharing.

What an interesting looking peacock with the feather pattern and eye color, very nice shot for the iso and the low perspective really adds to the image, excellent shot Rob.

Rob, you really ran across some wonderful birds in Thailand. That dense forest lighting is flat. It might be worth trying to lighten him just a touch. The double spurs on the back of the leg are interesting. Used in territorial and mating disputes?

Well done getting him sharp in that low light.

Terrific species. Nicely composed to use those odd body proportions. Very nice monochrome setting that harmonizes with the plumage.

Rob,
I'm cracking up as I type this. What a cool looking bird. In the small thumbnail I couldn't figure out what this was because I couldn't see the head. The larger version is a must see. You can see how this guy blends into the environment. Looking at the techs it looks as if you shot this in the dark. :) Must have been a forest canopy or the like. Well done!!

Reminds me of Donald Trump. This may be realistic as to the tone and color of the bird, but I would like to see the BG a touch brighter. Good as is though!
