Was testing out my 120-400 on a very cool evening. Like how the light struck these 3 geese.

I like the light on the face and calling pose of the center goose here John, ideally I think they wouldn't be overlapping but you didn't have any control over that. :toast:

Talk about synchronize flying. They line up and get into nearly identical wing positions just when you want them to separate out more. The light is very nice and the way it picks out the head of the center goose with the mouth open to call is super. I might try opening the shadows just a bit to see if I could coax some extra detail out of the shadow sides of their wings. Nice job in this lighting.

Pretty nice, John. I like the formation and good eye contact. Sweet light. Looks like a bit of motion blur as I really can't identify the focal plane.
