"I Told You Not to Push That Red Button!"

A carefully framed shot at a snow-machine freestyle jumping event (years ago). By zooming in to exclude the snow ramps on either side of the truck it made for a much more dramatic image :-)

Sony DSC-F707, ISO-100, f8.0, 1/800

From the thumbnail, I thought this was one of those impossible fantasy images from the Photo Art Gallery.
Great idea to shoot from here and frame it like this. Even with the ramps showing, this would have been very impressive from this angle. Without the ramps, it's even more eye-catching; really makes the viewer stop to try to figure out what's going on here.

The only way it could be more dramatic would be if you were the rider and used a wireless remote to activate the shutter release button.

What an eye-catching shot! The dramatic action immediately captures a viewers interest. Great freezing of the action with even the chunks of snow flying off the snowmobile looking frozen in place. Well done, Gary! :toast:

Well captured moment and nicely composed Gary,
There would seem to be a fine line between fun and crazy in this image.
Congratulations on the WP . . . :toast:
