An uncommon wader in southern Australia but there is currently a flock of about 400 on a beach about an hour away.

Very nice lighting and detail, Rob. These are quite common here, but I don't get close to them very often, and they move around a lot.

Nice work isolating a single bird and catching it standing still. I like the color transition in the background and how it suggests the ocean without distracting from the sanderling.

Nice detail with good light and a pleasing BG. Your beaches are a lot cleaner than the ones I normally shoot on.

Great low angle and I like the sloping sand.

A little low key in color compared to some of your recent subjects but nevertheless a nice, clean shot of this little guy.

Beautiful little guy, they pass through Saskatchewan on migration, both spring and fall. I like the nice low angle and the background. Great job getting one standing still. These guys love to run.

Lovely detail, Rob. I know the beach was probably slanted as shown, but I might be tempted to rotate the image anyhow. Excellent angle.
