Okay one more pretty lady. I liked the water out in front of her. Processed using Photoshop CS3, NeatImage and LightZone.

I'm not just impressed by the water effects out front - the whole setting is very unusual. This head-on shot worked very well indeed but two issues bother me. I can't identify the object behind the bird's left eye; to me it is a distraction and I would definitely get rid of it. I have reservations too, about the isolated turquoise reflection. She is undeniably beautiful with plenty of detail but my personal feeling is that I'd give yet more thought to enhancing the bilateral symmetry of the composition.

If I am not mistaken, the object is the tip of a wing. Sometimes they do not get them completely folded. I really like the positioning of the hen and the color of the water. Very nice image.

It's the right wing tip. I agree with David's solution, though.

I think I'd go with a horizontal crop on this just below the head reflection. The water above is prettier and more uniform, and the straight on view works nicely as centered. Sharon
