A common little Australian honeyeaterfrom my front garden recently. This little species unfortunately gets hammered by the larger and more aggressive Red Wattlebirds!
Setup & some playback used. Thanks for looking, Greg.

The flowers, background and green frame this bird so well - though it is obvious (to me) that a setup was used, not sure if that fact bothers you or not

Nicely executed, Greg, to get the perch and all the surroundings in focus.

"A common little bird in my garden". Envious, and admiring a beautiful image! I might consider a very minor crop from the rhs to eliminate the cut off flowers. Sharon

Greg, the bird pops off the page, but the perch is just as complimentary. I see this is a setup...was the perch natural to the location? Or was it one you brought? Just asking, because I think you couldn't have chosen a better perch. Very nicely seen and captured.
