This is a great capture. It is very sharp and the action depicted is amazing. My only nit would be that it looks a bit over saturated. Even if this is a fair representation of the scene, the green overpowers the image IMHO. I think pulling back on the greens would really help this image. Amazing shot. Was he able to swallow the fish?

Great timing Jagdeep,
You captured the action perfectly and the larger version is a must see to really appreciate this shot.
Well done . . . :toast:

That catfish is putting up a fight! Excellent, Jagdeep! Good detail and action. The duckweed is a little overpowering, but that is definitely the color it is. :toast:

Beautiful image capturing nature and the struggle to survive. I like the green in particular though the blacks could be lightened up a touch

A nice moment. I love the green surroundings. They don't look oversaturated on my monitor, FWIW.

Wow, nice capture. Tells an amazing story for the fight for survival. The duckweed look natural to me even if it does overpower the image slightly. I like Jerry's idea of maybe toning down the duckweed just a smidge so it doesn't distract quite so much. Larger version is a must see. Great look at the fish and eyes of the cormy. Super shot Jagdeep!!

Thanks friends!
Of course he was able to swallow the fish, but the real challenge was to do so in a couple of seconds, as there were other Cormorants n Pelicans ready to snatch the fish.

Excellent capture. The even lighting keeps the duckweed from getting too hot and becoming distracting. It may be a water drop or a piece of duckweed in the air right in back of its head (off the catfish's tail), but whatever it is, I would be inclined to take it out.
