I was going back over some images I took last fall. I like the feeling of the vastness of the prairies. Thanks for your comments and critiques.

Richard, this really does represent the endless views of the plains. Very nice depiction .

The wide view and foreground interest together with a sky working for you make this a lovely prairie landscape.

Ah, this is the kind of image that makes me want to BE THERE. The fence on the left is nicely placed in the image, and adds interest, with its years of added wire fencing. What State was this taken in?

For me, and it may be my monitor... but the grasses look a little dark (or oversaturated?). If it were mine, I would try lightening up the oranges or yellows in LR. But it's beautiful as posted, and the overall feel of the image is, for me, very dreamy. :toast:

Wonderful prairie landscape scene, Richard. I especially enjoy the wide open feel you captured in this. I always feel like taking a deep breath when looking at the vastness of the prairies.

Yeah, the vastness of the prairie comes through with this view. Straight roads and nary any shade it sight in the summer. Love the fence particularly that gnarly remains of a tree. Lots of history told there. The wire is still taught so someone is still tending it. A lot of story when one starts studying this image. Well done. Only nit is to clone out whatever that spire is sticking up from the horizon at close to dead center.
