On a bitterly cold day ( -30 C ) we spent some time in one of our northern parks. We were pleased to find some Gray Jays. I got out of the car for a few minutes and was able to capture some images of the jays.

Nikon D800, f5.6, 1/1000, 300 mm lens with a 1.4 tc

Thanks for looking and critiques appreciated

Very nice May. Love the blue spruce perch. The overall mood of the image is great with excellent technical details.

A wonderful image. It has a really warm and fuzzy feel. It sure doesn't look like a nasty cold day in the picture. Very nicely done!

I love how the jay is snuggled right into the top of the pine. Very nice details and a nice wintery image. Sharon

This image was well worth the exposure to such frigid conditions May. I love the pose and detail in the Jay, and congratulations on the WP!
