I don't know what the significance of the title is, Bill, but this certainly is a tribute to your expertise in recognizing and composing beautiful views of your local environments. The light on the wetlands really makes the plants pop against the sky and reflections. (The large version shines in that respect.) This would be beautiful even without the sky, but adding those delicious clouds just makes this outstanding.

Great cloud patterns to add that extra special ingredient to the already beautiful warm light across the landscape.

Nice light and color, Bill, I might try toning down those bright branches at the bottom. Other than that this looks great.

A lovely simple pleasing shot with nice sky and very accurate and believable colours. Perhaps the little bits of illuminated sedges sticking up at the bottom are mildly intrusive but not detrimental to the whole.

The pattern formed by the grass and water anchors this well, and the sky compliments nicely. I agree about the lighter grass at the bottom edge.

I sure do like the angled clouds running across the sky and the tremendous sense of depth. I sure would like to go exploring in my kayak. I'm having mixed feelings about those few stalks catching the light at the very bottom

This is just gorgeous, Bill. The clouds are just wonderful and the warm light compliments the tranquil mood of this image beautifully. My only suggestion would be to tone down those couple of bright branches along the bottom edge. Either way this is superb.

Wow, this is the nicest image yet I've seen from St Marks. Is this sunrise or sunset?

The large view is really outstanding, Bill. Your images from these wetlands are incredible and instantly recognizable as yours. Now that's a wonderful tribute. The light is just amazing and the sky is remarkable. The stalks are there , but detract so little from this marvelous shot. I love it.

Very peaceful mood in this Bill and I really like the blues and golds a lot. And a beautiful sky also. Real nice.

Gorgeous Bill. Beautifully soft light and skilled composition. It has a soft look, but not out of focus soft. I know you're not a fan of special effects filters but I'm wondering if you used any on this image such as the classic soft focus or maybe one of the NIK filters in processing? I agree with others about the branches at the bottom..... but the rest of the image outshines that very minor distraction.

Thanks all for your comments.
Bruce - no filters used. I debated about cloning the bottom branches. Judging from the near total agreement from comments, I should have.
