Shot this scene this past weekend at St. Mark's Wildlife Refuge. It was a great weekend to be in the marsh and swamp.

Gorgeous sky, Bill, and the plants in the FG make a wonderful frame for the reflection. The fact that you placed the higher plants on the left, where the clouds are heavier, makes this comp work for me, balanced by the larger (closer) trees on the right side. The only thing that makes me want something a little different is that I seem to want to see just a little more of the plants on the bottom. Maybe that's a good thing, because I am really enjoying this.

Bill - I'd be very pleased with myself if I could come back home next week with similar images from North Florida. Thanks again for your suggestions.

Very nice colors here Bill. The reflected light on the water is especially nice. You should have told those ducks to hold still, since you were taking their picture!

Very nice color and light, Bill. It is a peaceful feeling I get from this like a true refuge. Well done. Chet

That's a glorious scene, Bill! I'm really enjoy the depth that the grasses at the front add as well as the fine left to right eye flow following the clouds and their reflections over to the bright clouds on the right.
