Lushness

I just returned from a couple of days in the swamps and marshes of NW Florida. I had a blast - it was so pretty and peaceful. This is the first image I imaged and I love it because it expresses the true beauty of a Florida swamp I think. It was drizzling rain which really made the saturation pop. I hope you enjoy it.

Quite a contrast to the other Bill's image  ! The contrast between the greens and the dark bg is effective and the composition works great. I also like the difference in luminance between some of the leaves.

I love the color contrast and how the greens pop. Also beautiful light. All ingredients together make up for a beautiful photograph

I really like the comp and the light in this one, Bill! And, the greens are very appealing right now. Everything here is frosted this morning, and this has me dreaming of Spring now. :toast:

Interesting use of the black to frame the bottom of the image Bill. I think it works well.

Simply fantastic, Bill. The subdued even light is perfect for showcasing all those wonderful details in the large version. I am really enjoying those subtle reflections.

Bill, nicely done. I'd be interested also to see this creatively converted to a b&w image.

Beautifully done, Bill. The dark negative space works well and the greens really pop against it. I think this would also work really well as a B&W with the green channel brought way up.

Bill, it's good to be reminded (again) of how saturated colors get under an overcast/rainy sky. I also really like the hints of reflections in the dark water, but do find myself wishing to see them just a bit better.
