I watched this coyote work a brush line for about 20 minutes before it started to dig and came up with a previously killed rabbit carcass (back half if anyone is interested). Immediately the Coyote proceeded to another location which made sense as I soon noticed other coyotes in the area and I am certain they would have been "all to willing" to steal lunch for the day....

pp was minimal in lightroom for a slightly darker exposure (via reduced highlight tones). no crop.
The temp outside was -20 with harsh light early in they day (~10AM) due to reflection off the white snow.
Great day on in Northern Utah on Antelope Island.

2 commentsCompositionally this one works quite well for me, tho' perhaps cropped a bit too "pano-ish" for my personal taste. But the position of the subject in the frame, the foreground/background balance, etc., are all good from my perspective. The shot does look just a tad underexposed to me...but not by much...perhaps 1/3 go 1/2 of a stop at most...
Cheers...thanks for sharing...
