At the shore of Lake Neusiedl in the Pannonian Steppes, Austria. The shot was taken this evening, after a period of heavy frost throughout the last days.

Hi Peter, I just spent a little time enjoying your larger version of this. The smaller one really doesn't let one see what you captured here nearly as well. I like this...and as usual with your work enjoy the mood. Cheers!

I like the intimate look at this quiet, somber scene. You've done a fine job of catching the mood of a slow stroll on a calm winter's day.

I like the simplicity her Peter But the colors are great for showing the mood of winter and you've captured them well. Very nice job on this.

The large photo definitely lets you see detail you can't see in the small version. I like it, but then I live in a place that looks a lot like this!! :biggrin:
Nice comp, and I like the ice on the pieces of grass.
