Second Look

This is a second image posted from this encounter with an Eagle that was totally unexpected. I was very close before we saw each other and we both had a moment of hesitation. I left this image full frame in order to enjoy the very lush environment we were in. HH from boat, I love finding these kind of moments out on the water, thanks for taking a look.

Love the almost comical view from the Eagle. Centered comp with the vegetation frame works well here. Sharon

Nice detail & I like the direct head-on eye contact Mike.
Especially like the setting/environment, and the natural framing here! :toast:

I also like the look on the face of the bird. The setting is very nice, I do find myself wishing the eagle was just a bit farther to the right. Just a minor nit.

I'm glad you didn't crop - this is very nice full frame at the larger size. A very three-dimensional image.

I like the multiple layers in the photo; the eagle looks more curious than concerned. Good capture.

I like it, Mike. The Eagle is a bit centered, but I'd hate to lose any of those lovely ferns and that would be the side to crop from, so I think full frame was your best bet.
