Another image from the west coast of the island with heavy frost, quite unusual, on the rocks by the ocean. I liked how the morning light lit up the clouds in the back round and the frost sparkling.

This is quite different and I like that. The soft colors of the sky seem in opposition to the harshness of the land mass. This is an image with an abundance of tension. I find it refreshing.

The frost here really is the "frosting" on the cake. Excellent crafting of your image.

The frost looks indeed really nice! I think I might crop a bit from the bottom to just below the rocks, the dark sand is pulling my eyes to the bottom, while the action is higher up in the picture.

The frost makes the mid ground work, giving definition to what could otherwise be the problem area of this composition. The upper part of the sky looks unnaturally darkened which has brought out a strange transition into a magenta cast. Did you use an ND grad or through processing. I think the comp works fine as presented.

The frost adds a great contrast to the warm sky. I agree just a small crop from the bottom might improve.

Fascinating seeing frost on a coast image like this; the comp and sky support it nicely. I'll echo Kah Kit's comments about the sky.

Hi Bill, this one has some nice layering going on. And it sort of has a mirroring effect going on with the clouds and sand. I can also appreciate the slight vignetting as well.

What a neat image, Bill. The frosted rocks create some great texture and hold interest well and then you've got a fine sense of flow and gentle colors in the sky. I have to admit to being torn, I like the long look up the rocks and it balances well with the sense of motion in the sky, but I also like a version cropped from the bottom to just below the rock in the lower right.

Striking image, Bill. Good work finding that frost to provide a great setting for that beautiful sky.

This is really fascinating to view, Bill. I really like your combinations of elements and the layers they form for this image. The large version is a real treat as it showcases everything beautifully. The frost covered rocks were truely a great find.

I am enjoying this one Bill! The sand and rock pulls me through to the beautiful sky you captured.

A great sky to compliment this very interesting detail study. The contrast in textures works very well, too. Well done.
