Since very young I had a fascination for Dolmens and Menhirs, but it was only recently in a trip to Ireland that I had the opportunity to see a real one.
The Poulnabroke Dolmen in the Burren is a visitors Landmark, I was lucky to be there in a beautiful day. When I recently joined Nature Photographers and came to this Gallery I thought that The Poulnabroke Dolmen is one of the very first encounters of Man and Nature

This kind of art (if you can call it that) fascinates me also. I love it.

A great day for sightseeing; we were there on a dark and gloomy morning. The cloud highlights look a bit bright. Maybe you can recover some of the detail there.

Wonderful place; we were there twice, both times with not so godd weather.
I like your composition and light. Meybe the highlights are a bit too bright.

That's a very cool looking place, Alberto! I can see why it is a landmark.

I am also fascinated by the amount of effort that would go into such a thing. But a monument is a monument now or then. I think of the pride these people must have felt to have accomplished such a task, amazing. I really like the flowers and the lichen. Thank you for sharing.

Very interesting subject. The flowers and the clouds add to the interest in the image. Well done.
