Just some zebra on the endless plains of Etosha...
Seeing the stormy skies over this vast landscape made the lack of elephants (due to the rains arriving with us) worth it

Techs:
Nikon D3s
Nikkor 70-200mm f2.8 VR-II @ 70mm
f5.6 | 1/400 SS | ISO-220

Interesting composition, Morkel. I like it. The black and white works well here. :toast:

This is different, in a very good way, Morkel. I like the proportions of land and sky and that very sharp delineation between the two. Great job in keeping all the zebras below that horizon line, the key to the image I think. The polarizer has really accentuated the drama in the sky, but I might experiment with lightening up the black in the sky at the top a bit. The black/white suits the photo and subjects. :toast:

Absolutely stunning. The b/w treatment is beautifully suggested by the zebras b/w stripes.

Black and white really suits this image Morkel and th euse of a polariser has rally given the clouds great definition.
I like the composition.
My only niggle is the two small animals in front of the last zebra's head. I think i woudl have cloned them out. :toast:
