Hi Eva, Looks like we both enjoyed the same snowfall. The white on white is a little tricky to process, but you pulled it off well. Your conversion perfectly shows the difference between the white bark of the paper birch, and the even whiter snow. The contrasting finer texture of the background growth works well to isolate the birch, and your narrow composition aids in that respect, too. My only very tiny nit is that I would like to see just a little more space on the bottom below the tree, if there is any more clear snow there.

Eva, I like how you made some sense of this chaos. I imagine it would be tough to find a coherent composition here . Nice job.

This white on white image is very nice. Love the birch trees and the way you have organized the chaos. Well done. Chet

That's a tough one. I like it though this is a tough scene to capture and to organize the chaos. But you succeeded.

The intricate details come through much better in the large version, Eva. I really like the high key approach here. My only suggestion would be a touch more room at the bottom.

What Bill said. Overall, I like this, a nice subject and approach. I think theres enough on the bottom--but the narrow aspect makes me want to see more on the sides. It could be that the big black borders here are fooing me though in that regard.

The sides cropped out were very disorganizing so opted for this crop.
Thanks everyone.

How cool! Love the white on grey "color" scheme. You've handled the whites so well. The trio of angled birch trunks makes a great focal point
