Hidden in labyrinth of bad lands resides this amazing rock formation. I spent a wonderful evening exploring this little canyon.

The texture and overlapping ridges in the foreground are great. The set of rocks upper left are a fine focal point. To me, the darkness in the clouds at the top seems too much. It may be real, but I'd dodge that a bit.

An interesting looking formation, Gary. One of the outstanding things about Utah is the amazing formations everywhere in the southern area. I'm not familiar with this site so I'm not too sure where this is exactly, but it shares a lot of the features with many of the photographic hot spots in the state......nicely seen and captured.

Love teh textures and layers in this one Gary. The darker rock formation in the bg look almost like some pagan warrior face. Pretty Cool.

Gary, I like the textures. I agree with Mark that the clouds appear a bit dark, but if you lighten them I'm afraid the photo will have a lot of grey. Perhaps you could darken the shadows in the foreground. Like Danial, I see a face in the middle dark rock spire!

Nice tones, textures and comp Gary and the face in the rock is very cool. Maybe some processing to pull the face out more. Just a thought. Very nice job on this.

The "face" perceived in the rocks makes this much more than just a landscape image of the textures and lines. Very cool!

Other than taking the lightest point to a pure white, this is just perfect. Nice lines here Gary.
