‘Working with Red’
Playing around with studio set-up for some flower shots and came away with a few keepers. No idea what this flower is other than its red and was a good subject to work with. One shot, cropped to 83% of FF.

Mike: I'm having a complete brain lock on the ID but I certainly like the shot. Nice work with the lighting and your POF/DOF choice. Well done.>=))>

Very striking, Mike, with super lighting. Love the look of the main blossom. Regarding the ID, maybe a variety of freesia?

Pretty sure it's an alstroemeria, Mike - the so-called Peruvian lily. Top-notch shot, well composed, excellent lighting and control of the reds, and fine sharpness on those anthers just losing their crispy pollen. Love it !!
