More snowflakes on a web. Third in the series.

I was so engrossed in trying to capture them, I lost all sense of time.

Canon 5DM3
Canon EF180mm f/3.5L Macro USM +2x II
ISO 1600 1/80 sec f/8
Silver Efex Pro 2, under exposed, Ilford Delta 100 rendering

BTW - Here is an interesting link forwarded to me by a career coach I am working with. Snowflakes

Maybe you should patent your "gentle snowflake catcher", (GSC) and seek crowd source funding for studying snowflake shapes (as in your link). The details in these are great, it's easy to see how you'd get totally absorbed plus it's rare to catch individual flakes, they're so often clumped together.

Isn't it wonderful when a subject or the light absorbs you so that you lose yourself in the work? I don't know if it's bliss or oblivion, but I love it when it happens. And, your intense focus on this series is very evident as all are superb! :toast:

I still prefer that first image, but all of these have been fascinating Eva.
