Big battles of little calves.
Some of my favorite subjects, shot with a bid smile behind the camera.
Thank you so much for your kind attention & views!

The twisted, knotted trunks make for an excellent point of interest. I like that you have good light on the eyes and it accents the wrinkled skin very well. Maybe you could apply a tiny amount of noise reduction on the background blues.

A great setting and good light to capture this action, Jagdeep. Given the youth of the combatants, there's definitely an element of fun added to this moment.

Hi Jagdeep,
The larger version of this image really shines - it's a definite must-see. I agree with Lon's comments and would add that both the patchy dark regions on the elephant's backs (the "hairy" parts) and the deep wrinkles add a level of texture and "realness" that is pleasing to the eye. I suppose in a perfect world the entire background would be uniformly green/yellow (without the blue band), but I'd never describe that as a problem or "flaw". Of course, love the curled trunks and playful interaction between the two little(?) calves!
Cheers...thanks for sharing this...

HI - what a cute photo and great lighting too. I really like the layering of the background colors.
It looks like there's some noise in the background maybe you could try reducing that a little bit especially in the water.

It's a real treat to watch them play-fighting. I love the light here and of course the sweet moment of interaction between two baby elephants.
