Winter seems to be saying, "My turn" emphatically as it assaults the aspens still with color this last Fall. My last image from the past season.

C&C always welcome, and thanks for looking,

I love the drama along with the changing seasons in this beauty, Morris. Gorgeous image for sure.

Beautiful image Morris! You captured some wonderful conditions here and I love the contrast with the golden aspens. I gotta make it out there!!! :toast:

I like the strong contrasts here with the vibrant color and the snowy conditions. I'm not sure if it is just due to the slope of the hillside in the foreground or if it is due to lens distortion or perhaps I had too much egg nog but this seems to have a clockwise tilt to it.

I think this is my favorite of the series. I like the depth created thru the layers, and the contrast of orange with grey. Impressive scene, Morris.

Another stunner Morris. What a blaze of color that is, and with another strong backdrop. For some reason my eye wishes that the bottom left and right matched, either the trunks were visible with snow on the right or that they were cut off in the left, but that's probably just a personal quirk.

So nice is so many ways...beautifully composed with the diagonal of aspens and strong verticals of the peaks, great color, and wonderful mood.

Beautiful way to end the fall season. Amazing contrast and color. I also love the smattering of color on the extreme right side, it makes me want to peek around the corner. Very nice image.

Such an impactful contrast. Nearly colorless with absolute color. Love the layers in the tree and the dark cloud above. Nicely done, Morris!

Very cool, Morris. Super nit pick: I could probably stand a bit more (or less) of the fg snow. So far, the best winter conditions weve had were in fall--hopefully that will turn around!

Fabulous! As has been stated, the drama/competition between the vibrant trees and the almost B&W feel of the background give this image a great feel for what is happening between the ending of fall and the beginning of winter. Bravo!
