Nice framing and symmetry. The grass in the bottom of the frame is mildly distracting and I think the image would be more impact without. Overall a solid image. Nice work.

Very nice image. I like the light and the composition. Simple and clean composition.

You caught some lovely light that compliments this simple composition very well. I don't care for the grass intruding into the reflection but that's not a huge issue. Beautiful work on this one.

Yes, I looked at those grasses long and hard, with clone tool in hand. In the end, decided to leave it as found and live with it.

Very pastoral. I on the fence with the bottom grasses. On the positive side, they do provide an end to the water, and finishing border. On the negative side, they're rather distracting, and I don't believe that they contribute to the overall pastoral effect of the rest of the image. Nonetheless, excellent crafting.

Chiaroscuro at its finest... almost renaissance like. Beautiful light and comp.

I would tend to agree with the other critical comments concerning the grass at the bottom. More grass (if possible) would have been a better choice compositionally I think, or none at all. But the small amount intruding along the bottom of this image is somewhat distracting to my eye. The bright cloud at the top also draws my attention away from the key elements.

I simply love the serene mood created with the soft light and the reflection in this, Ronald. This is just a personal preference, but I would like either more of the grasses or none at all. I really like this as is, but I think it would be so much stronger if you cloned out the grasses.

Ditto on the grass, otherwise love it Ronald! Beautiful reflection; the tree has an understated elegance. I like the lean and the way it fits the comp.

As a centered main subject this works just fine with this tree and reflection, Ronald. As mentioned the grass at the bottom is an eye draw, but I think with some creative cloning and some CA work you might be able to remove it or at least minimize most of it. But not a deal breaker IMO, still a fine image as is.

Add me to the anti-grass crowd--although i live in CO, where it is now legal  Otherwise, this is very cool! :toast:
