Water Abstract

Looking through some older files this morning and came across this from 2010. The Carbon River can display some nice color once the glacial silt clears as this shot shows. Very little processing was involved, a slight crop from the bottom, increases in saturation but no hue adjustments and a curves adjustment layer all done in ACR. Very slight sharpening in PS after resizing. Thanks for looking.

This makes a very appealing abstract as presented. I also think it would be an interesting composition cropped to a horizontal pano featuring the blue streak.

Interesting reading Jim's comment; I too was going to say my favorite part is the blue streak. If not a pano crop, maybe something that took some off the top and right? Either way the image is nice for this type of photo, but especially the blue.

A very nice abstract image, Bruce! I too especially like the blue and the panoramic Jim mentioned sounds like a nice option.

"deep greens and blues are the colors I chose......" Love that song and this image reminds me of it. Nice even motion blur to blend the colors. wonderful abstract.

I'm right there with Jim on this. Crop the bright green off of the top and the rest of the colors tie together I believe. That blue streak makes for a great anchor in this beautiful abstract.

This is a very eye catching abstract, Bruce. the bands of color work so well together in this. Great eye to spot this wonderful image.

Lovely gradation of color, Bruce, and nice use of aperture and shutter speed for an excellent abstract. Although a pano crop from top as suggested would work, I tend to prefer inclusion of the vibrant greens up top.
