Floral carolers or ?

So when I got back from my bike ride a few minutes ago, I stopped to admire a crock pot of poinsettias in the front of the house. I decided to take a picture of the flower, but as I looked deeper into the shot, I realized that the interior of the flower was inhabited by floral characters. Now there are two possible interpretations here - a positive Xmas one and another. But wait no longer - here is what I found:

On a positive Xmas note, I see little floral characters singing Xmas carols. You can see their mouths open in song. On a negative note, I see little floral characters busy growing into man eating plants such as the one that starred in "Little Shop of Horrors."

This is not offered as an example of good photography - just an amusing observation after deeply cropping the flower shot!

Well they say that things that really happen are harder to believe or more amazing than stories that people invent.
But I need to know something before I can decide.. Which parallel universe R U from?
