Hey Ronald,

A face - and body - only a mother (or conspecific) could love! The techs on this one look quite solid - image sharpness is good (especially with a 2x TC) and the DoF works for me. On the compositional side, this one feels a bit too centred for me - I think it might be strengthened a little if a bit of the foreground was cropped out (losing the bottom 4 dung piles) with as much room added above (functionally lowering the subject in the frame). And my preference would be to see a little less room behind the subject (enough to lose that last dung pile!) and a little more room in front of it. Not sure if this is possible or not (i.e., whether or not you have more room around the subject).

Cheers...

Brad

I concur with Brad's suggested tweaks, if possible to make them. I like this for the front leg position and the angle of head turn, showing off that fine face and impressive mustache!

Wow, very cool catching him out in the open like this. The background grasses are an ideal setting. Really like the detail of the hide and hair, there's beauty in all of nature. What an exotic skull structure. I agree with Brad regarding the compositional/cropping suggestions; worth exploring a bit to raise this from good to great.
