Busy wasp

This was a challenging photo for numerous reasons not the least of which I was only a couple of months into the hobby. A couple of weeks ago I posted another image of this wasp that I took at the same time, but this one shows the wasp in action with its head in one of the 4 cells of it's rather tiny nest. The nest was probably less than an inch long. The wasp was in the corner of a dark part of my front porch and I shot this hand held with my Canon T3i with 18-55 kit lens at 55mm, f14, 1/200, ISO 400. I would love to get the shot now that I have a legitimate macro lens. Basically a beginner's effort at some macro photography which I hope to delve into a bit deeper in that I find it to be a fascinating pursuit!

Well captured, Sandy. Good detail in the wasp. I wonder about the green cast, but maybe that's the actual bg color?
