Another one from my new playground in the Jura mountains of switzerland. A couple of weeks ago we got the first load of snow in this winter.....and so it made for some great opportunities in the area...unfortuaantely we've had some warm weather the last to weeks and so by now almost all the snow has melted again . Here's one from about two weeks ago shortly after sunset.

Great shot! I see the long neck, left eye and beak of some bird in the snow from the bottom right corner of the shot running up diagonally beyond the center.

This made me smile. It's the kind of peaceful image I like to look at over morning coffee. The color and details look great, and I love the textures in the snow.

This is beautiful, Bill. It really needs to be viewed large. Wonderful detail in the snow and love the sky color gradient.

Ohhh, this is wonderful, with all of the windblown structure in the snow and the gentle colors in the sky. The trees are prefectly placed.

The hint of pink and cyan across the snow is nice. I like the details in the snow as well.

Interesting work Bill. It does feel a bit left heavy due to the FG. Love the color palette.
