So which way do I go? Snow on trees always looks good although this scene looks like it could benefit from a slight increase in brightness. There's nothing clipped in the highlights so it looks like there's a fair amount of room left to brighten it up without losing anything.

Hi Gary, my intention was to present the actual November atmosphere, as I captured it (the light was a bit diffuse).
I've attached a bit brighter alternative (Photoshop makes it possible). Thanks for comment.

I do think the mood of the original is stronger, Miro - you sense the damp and the cold better in the more subdued light. I like the concept - and it makes for a dynamic composition. My only suggestion would be to remove the small red sign - but you might not want to do that.

"Two roads diverged in a wood. . ." Definitely brings to mind this part of Robert Frost's poem called "The Road Less Traveled". It always looks so beautiful when snow coats every branch as in this scene. The roads diverging adds an interesting foreground. I think I like the original better as it looks more moody and like a typical November.

Looks like a visual version of Frost's poem about two roads... (I see Carolyn's already said that ) I like the lighter version better. I don't mind the road being dark, but the black tree trunks in the original version felt too dark.
