Winter Oats

Today was an absolutely gorgeous day so I just had to head to the beach for sunset. It wasn't the prettiest sunset but it was still great just to be out in the cool, crisp air. There's a slight blur in the sea oats due to the 1.3 second shutter speed along with the breeze.

Pretty scene Bill, love the subtle colors, and of course the sea oats, for me, this has a warm mood, being I'm up to my knees in snow. Beautifully seen and presented.

Very nice. Love the white sand, and bird footprints. Must be a wonderful experience being there.

Nice soothing scene. I might take this a bit more into a pano and brighten the sand a touch.

Nice and peaceful, Bill. The tones in the sand are wonderful. I also like the implied movement of the bent grasses.

A solid shot Bill which i would expect from you--but to be honest the grasses breaking the horizon introduce a bit of tension for me that IMO clashes with the peaceful mood. I do love the little animal tracks in the fg. :wavey:

Wow, a deserted beach. I love how you've set this up with the dune and the sea oats taking center stage. The gentle colors in the sky fit perfectly with the story of a wonderful day on a quiet beach. I can feel the sand between my toes and feel the breeze.
